75% Reimbursement

Well Sealing advert

Abandoned wells are often forgotten, but present a significant risk for groundwater contamination.  In some cases an abandoned well can also be a safety hazard to children and pets. Through this pilot project, eligible applicants can get reimbursed up to 75% of the cost to seal an unused well on their property.

Applications are now being accepted for 2012.  See the fact sheet below for more information or call 225-4428.

This Program is a joint project of Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County and the Miami Conservancy District.
