  • Get yearly mammograms
  • Get a clinical breast exam every year
  • Perform monthly self-breast exams
  • Encourage all other women to do the same

Breast Cancer Support

Sister-Sister Breast Cancer Support Group offers a safe and caring environment for those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. Together, we support each other in a loving, caring, and spiritual environment. Our regular meetings feature guest speakers, educational components, and friendship.

Support Group Schedule

Sister-Sister welcomes anyone who wants to learn more about breast cancer – survivors, relatives and friends. We offer monthly and semi-monthly meetings designed to provide emotional and educational support.

Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Semi-monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  These meetings are held only in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW)

NIW April 21st-28th is National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW).

The goal of the Immunization Program is to increase awareness about immunizations across the life span, from infants to the elderly. NIIW is the perfect time to remind family, friends, co-workers, and those in the community to immunize their children, as well as catch up on their own vaccinations.

Public Health-Dayton & Montgomery County holds outreach clinics for children each month.
