Our Public Health team offers many programs and services to help you stay healthy. From preventing disease, to offering free workshops — it is all part of our ongoing mission to make Montgomery County the healthiest it can be.

  • Disease Prevention: Programs that help prevent disease; like the Immunization Clinic, Prenatal & Women’s Health Services, STD & HIV Testing and Home Care.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Programs that help protect and prepare the community for natural disasters, disease epidemics and biological attacks.
  • Environmental Health: Programs that help protect the community from disease; like restaurant inspections, plumbing & private water system permits, and air quality.
  • Health Promotion & Wellness: Programs that help you become and stay healthy; like nutrition and physical activity education, child & adolescent health clinics and coping with chronic disease.
  • Vital Statistics: The information you need for acquiring a birth or death certificate.
