- Centers for Disease Control
- The Food Safety Office (FS0) of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) helps lead the CDC in the prevention of illness, disability, and death due to foodborne diseases.
- FDA- Bad Bug Book
- From the U.S. FDA, a handbook of basic information about foodborne bacteria, viruses, parasites, prions, and naturally occurring toxins. The consumer sections focus on food safety, including tips on how to reduce the risk of foodborne illness.
