Emergency department visits decreased by a whopping 30% (about 2,000 less visits) from the 11th to the 12th week of this year. People are thoughtfully changing their behavior and making different decisions about using the health care system. This creates more flexibility as we move into a challenging time. The drop in Emergency Department visits suggests that we are complying with the “Stay at home” order and other measures to decrease virus transmission. As a group we are affecting our future and helping to keep it from being as bad as it could be.
Good Job, Montgomery County!
