Get Vaccinated Ohio
Get Vaccinated Ohio is a grant-funded program aimed at reducing or eliminating vaccine preventable diseases in Montgomery County by evaluating and improving immunization rates in persons birth to 18 years of age. Services for providers include free continuing education programs, monthly newsletters, quality assurance programs including Maximizing Office Based Immunizations (MOBI), Teen Immunization Education Sessions (TIES), and Immunization Quality Improvement Program (IQIP), which assess immunization rates.

Get Vaccinated Ohio Goals
- Implement targeted reminders and follow-ups to improve local immunization rates.
- Identify areas with low vaccination levels and provide education and resources to parents and providers.
- Use data to assess provider rates and apply strategies to improve performance.
- Educate child and adolescent providers on timely vaccinations and best practices.
- Ensure vaccination of high-risk infants exposed to hepatitis B.
- Support schools in reporting new student data to ODH and improving vaccination rates.

Quality Improvement
The Get Vaccinated Ohio grant offers an Immunization Quality Improvement Program (IQIP). IQIP promotes and supports implementation of provider-level strategies to help increase on-time vaccinations of children and adolescents.
- The IQIP assessment can be utilized to analyze up-to-date rates and missed opportunities for both children and adolescents in your practice.
- The IQIP Process collaborates your office staff and public health representatives to identify quality improvement strategies to increase vaccination rates by improving and enhancing immunization workflow.
