Public Health - Dayton & Montgomery County is hosting “walk-up” childhood vaccination clinics Wednesday, August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 from 12:30 – 4:00 pm at its Public Health Clinic located in the Reibold Building, 117 S. Main St. in downtown Dayton. Walk-ins will betaken ;until the clinic capacity is reached to ensure that each client receives adequate attention.
As parents begin to plan for their children’s in-person learning, Public Health reminds parents to make sure their children get caught up on recommended vaccines. For a list of required and recommended vaccines visit: https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/parents/index.html
On-time vaccination throughout childhood is essential because it helps provide immunity before children are exposed to potentially life-threatening diseases. Vaccines are tested to ensure that they are safe and effective for children to receive at the recommended ages.
Services are billed based on the patient’s ability to pay and no one will be turned away based on inability to pay.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany their children and bring the following information: Photo ID for parent or guardian, immunization shot record for child (if available), insurance card, and custody or guardianship papers (if applicable).
Free parking will be available in the Reibold Building garage and face masks must be worn while receiving services.Please note: The clinics are for routine childhood vaccinations. COVID-19 vaccinations will not be available at this time.
